Had too much excitement for a day yesterday. After seeing a part of my past and
talking with Daminu I went back to the village to rest a bit. Uno made a wonderful
pork pie for dinner, have to ask for the recipe next time. I struggled four hours,
could not sleep at all then finally at some point I managed to fall asleep. A strange
day I left behind, had no nightmares this time though I can not remember to have
dreamed about anything at all that night. There is a spring in the forest I wanted
to check out yesterday but I took my time to look around today. Had a chat with
Noah about some flowers and plants that had the ability to dye any clothes they
came in contact with. Noah then showed me the way to the spring, the Elim like
the water of the spring there, it has revitalizing effects. I promised Noah to get
some water and went to find the spring. Going deeper into the forest I saw a pack
of Mepigguses munching on something. Grunting and squeeking they ran away as
I approached them leaving behind what looked like a book at first. The book was
covered with moss and at the foot of the tree were plenty of mushrooms which
the Mepigguses love. Opening the book I made the discovery that it was actually
a diary. Turning to the front page I discovered a name, Melampus. Melampus?
With the diary in my hand I went back to the village to give it back to its righteous
owner. On my way back I bumped into Namus who was arguing with, what luck,
Melampus himself. Namus was in big trouble. He met a nymph in the woods near
the spring I was looking for. According to him the nymph was a beautiful being,
more beautiful than his fiancée. This is where he got himself in trouble, Namus
started flirting with the nymph apparently and told the spirit he was about to marry
a girl from the village although he kept on insisting they were talking about minor
things. Right…So, basically what happened is that the cheeky spirit took his
engagement ring and vanished. If Namus’ fiancée would find out what happened
she would surely brake up with him. And why Melampus and Namus were arguing?
Melampus had a book, a diary which had all sorts of informations about the
creatures of the forest in it, precious informations about nymphs too. Melampus
promised to lend the diary to his friend but lost it somewhere and could not find
it anymore. I told them I found a book that might be the one they were looking for.
Namus persuaded me to look for the spirit and in the meantime he would spend a
few days in the house of Melampus, hiding there from his girlfriend and the doom
he would face if she knew about the missing ring. Melampus gave me map on which
he pinpointed the location of the spring. Getting closer to spring I heard a calming
female voice singing. I saw a pair of legs in the mist then an upper body, it was the
nymph! She had a stunning figure, I somehow understood why Namus was so charmed.
While she was taking a bath I discovered her clothes on a big rock next to the spring.
I crept to the foot of the rock and grabbed her clothes. Some sort of alarm must have
went off because the nymph started shouting and swearing which was not so charming
anymore. I ran as fast as I could and hid in the bushes. Rummaging through her clothes
I finally found the ring, slipped it in to my pocket and went back to the spring. Have not
seen any sign of movement nor the nymph so I put back and rearranged her clothes on
the rock. Got my bottle filled up with some water for Noah and tried sneaking away.
Having quite a distance behind me I could make out a sound of a faint laughter. Was it
my imagination or the spirit planning an ambush?! Did not want to wait there to find out
what would happen so I went straight to the lodge of Melampus. Saw some light inside,
they were still up. Namus was so happy he invited me to his wedding. Told him I was
greatful for the offer but I still had some errands to do and declined the invitation.
Melampus made some roasted boar, I was happy to finally eat something. Time for bed.

There is this huge and majestic tree in Daminu Forest. Now that I think about it,
Daminu…Daminu Forest? Figures. I bumped into two guards who were on patrol
and who had shown me the correct direction to find the Ruler of the forest. Upon
meeting Daminu we discussed the threat that has befallen this land. In return for
the favour the Elim told me if I wanted to, it would send me on a trip, on a trip that
would reveal parts of my past. This was an offer I could not decline. Daminu told me
to relax and lay my hand on its trunk. I heard some weird chant, must have been the
Elims own language, sounded to me as if someone kept on hitting a barrel from the
inside. Clashing swords, the constant screams surrounding me and the smell of burning
flesh. Where the hell am I?! A group of platemail covered guardians stood on both
sides. I rushed to edge of the cliff, when I finally got there an arm grabbed me by my
shoulder. As I looked into her mesmerizing green eyes something broke free in me.
Memories of my past, tiny bits and pieces. I felt dizzy but a name popped into my mind:

“Perpartan!”

“What took you so long?!” she had to shout, the rumble was too big.

“Orissa and its legion is on Karamatis” she pointed to the Abyss island behind us.

“Orissa?! We have to defeat it and its Balaur minions!” I replied.

“Easier said than done, the Asmodian Archons appeared from nowhere and
blocked our way”

“Okay, what should I do?”

“We will keep the Asmodians busy while you can head over to Karamatis and defeat
Orissa and its Balaur legionaries!

“May the light of Usthiel shine upon us all Perpartan!”

We once again looked into eachothers eyes, she smiled.

I stepped to the edge of the outpost, spread my wings and jumped. The sensation of
flying, how I missed this feeling. Getting closer to Karamatis I knew this “vision” would
not last much longer and when I landed it ended almost instantly. I was still standing
before Daminu, it all seemed to me as if it was not more than a mere dream.

Seeing IS believing! I went for a walk to the nearby forest the other day. Suddenly a
voice from nowhere greets me. I took a good look around but could not find the source
of it. This time I heard a laughter that sounded more like it was coming from a can, it
gave me the creeps. A tree branch hit my left shoulder, I spinned around just to see
some old tree standing next to the trail. I took a closer look and that undefinable voice
said “Yes my son, is I who welcomed you in our forest” then two yellowish spots that
may have looked like eyes blinked. I jumped back a few steps in my surprise *gasps*.
A talking tree! It really talked! The tree saw my astonished and shocked face so it
quickly added that it meant no harm and I should come closer. It even had a name,
Noah. Noah told me they were members of a race called Elim. The Elim were the rulers
of the forest but as it is now fiendish and primitive creatures cut down the trees
of the forest. Dukaki gather the material which they take to a mine not far from here
in order to refine Odium. I received a wooden flute and Noah asked for a favour. Had
to search the forest for Elim elders, avaken them with the flute and ask for their advice.
I was told to see Daminu, the master of the Elim.

How I wish these nightmares would stop plaguing me every single night. If this will not
stop in the near future I surely will lose my sanity… Then again, what difference does
it make? I have no memories to recall, when I introduce myself to someone I tell them
I am a friendly stranger who offers his help?! When I woke up only a single member of
the mercenary group was present, he told me I should see Kalio, he wants to have a
talk with me. Put my leather boots on, uh oh…guess I am in need of new boots as well,
that hole on the side does not look too promising. Kalio presented me a new mace I
could use, according to him there is a task I could easily finish. With that said I took my
leave and went to look for someone called Muranes. When I exited the village through
the other side I asked the guard in charge if he could give some directions which he did.
Muranes was standing not far from here. Birds singing, lush green environment,
Cliona Lake. A place of tranquility I thought… Muranes apparently does not like to waste
time, she immediately explained my task. As she pointed to a northern direction I could
make out the forms of…kerubim, again. The pesky fiends destroyed the horse stable,
the building that stood as the grain storage once. I tried to ran through the mire with
more or less success, as soon as I reached the remains of the stable one of them tried
to attack me. My feet were covered with mud so my first attempt to attack utterly
failed. The little bugger suffered almost the same fate with a slight difference, as my
foot slipped the mace swung in the other direction which was exactly the same
direction from where the kerubim tried to attack me. I had more luck it seems, other
then a sprained ankle I survived where as the poor little fellows head cracked like a
melon. After finishing the task and reporting back to Muranes I took a walk at the
shores of the lake. I do understand now why the villagers try to protect this peaceful
land, the lake and its surroundings look fantastic!

I finally reached the gates of the village. Two guards stood at the entrance and escorted
me inside watching every step I took. I met Kalio, the captain of the mercenaries who
are stationed here in the village. He described me the current situation, what problems
the villagers face and the constant threat that makes the people awfully careful. Again,
I found myself learning about new things of which I believe I have never heared before,
or have I? I still can not remember my name… I met a Soul Healer too, she told me that I
could bind my soul to the big carved statue made of some shimmering stone that stood
next to her. Am a bit puzzled to be honest, although she explained me how it works
three times I could not help myself but ask her again. She gave up eventually and I bode
farewell. I had this weird feeling that someone has been watching me the whole time
while we were talking. As I took a peek my jaws dropped, I saw two…hm, how should
I put it…well, they nyerked. I stepped closer and wanted to ask the guy standing next
to them but before I could even utter a single word one of them started to talk. And it
talked, and talked, and talked…and tried to sell me all sorts of items. I saw my end
already when a gorgeous lady approached me. I could not help but gaze at her.
Without even paying attention to the very talkative little creature she introduced
herself as Polinia and said she had important matters to discuss with me, I should
escort her to the local church. She said I should not pay attention to the Shugos,
hm…so that is what they are called! I was then asked to see the head priest and went
inside. First I had a talk with an instructor, he told me it seems to him I too walk the
path of the priests (he has good eyes…) and showed me books with ancient texts in
them. Interesting enough, I could actually read the text inside the books. The instructor
said I should memorize everything that is inside them and I will make good use of it when
the time comes. Asteros the head priest was very eager to meet me. The priest said it
was foretold I would come to this village and that he has to do everything standing in
his power to help my quest. What quest?! He gave me the blessing of the Lords,
whoever they might be I sensed some sort of familiarity again. As I watched the sunset
I got invited by the the cook Uno. Although the villagers had little to share they treated
me with such hospitality. Kalio said at the table I could sleep at the mercenary camp,
I gladly accepted the invitation and went to bed after the tasty meal.

Had to do some errands on my way, the villagers have difficulties harvesting the grain as
small creatures constantly feast on it. I even got a small reward. Every coin I can gather
brings me a step closer to my future that is yet to unfold and to be honest I need a new
mace, the one I have with me is blunt. I would be a laughing stock if they saw me
“massaging” the back of some fiend with my mace… As I fight my way to the village I
learn new things about myself. I would have never thought I could heal wounds. One of
the agressive little kerubims bit my leg and it would not stop bleeding. While I tried to
make a bandage I prayed that the inhabitants of the village had some sort of antiseptic
when suddenly a glowing light covered my hands and the wound on my leg. The warm
light gently eased my pain and like a miracle my leg was healed. I also managed to dish
out some damage to the mischievous creatures from afar. I had to chant a few words
and the poor thing, as if scared to death, ran away with a speed I’ve never seen before.
Must have hit the right spot!

I finally managed to swallow some food that a lovely old lady gave me when she passed
by. She told me I look awfully pale and handed over some bread and meat. As we talked
about this land she suddenly grasped my hands and looked deep into my eyes. She then
said in an eerie voice: “You have to be brave my child! You must walk the road of the
heroes, never turning back. Remember who you were, who you are and do what must
be done to shape your future!” As if nothing has happened just now she continues to
tell me about her grandchildren and the trip they made to Sanctum, the noble capital
city of the Elyos. Elyos? What’s that I asked. The lady started to laugh real hard, she
never heard a joke like that before. I found it better to keep my mouth shut and be
careful not to say weird things to strangers. I wished her farewell and went to take a
look at the nearby settlement.

wildly threatening nearby creatures. Daeva…someone is calling me, Daeva! I wake up and
have hit my head. I see this fellow standing next to the road, he tells me I am in Poeta.
It sounds so familiar but the more I try to think about it the more my head hurts. I think
I need a rest before I can continue…
